Well to give you a quick scoop, I went to the Jesuit Prom last night with Alejandro Padron. Around 4:15, his immediate family, aunt, uncle, and cousin, came over for hors d'oeuvres and pictures. Afterwards, he and I drove to Frankie Wamsley's house for more pictures with friends and were then transported in a limo to the restaurant Chart House which overlooks the water...(it's close to the Hyatt). From there, we went to the dance which was held at the Tampa Club. :) Unfortunately, the music was...well.......um...let's just say we only danced to about 3 songs. Fortunately, there was a Victorian- styled room separate from the dance which played quiet, jazzy music. We spent the remainder of our time there having a meaningful conversation and playing games. By 11, we were departing (waiting in a long line to just get into the elevator) to return to Frankie's house so Alex could drive me home. (curfew: 12:30). On our drive home, we rolled the windows down, blasted and sang along to some Sinatra hits. (definitely one of my favorite parts of the night hehe). Alex favored me with one more dance on the driveway (haha a real dance) to a special song of ours before we went inside to give the recap of the night to my family. O goodness...I could go on with more and more details but...Ill spare you. I promised it would only be a "quick scoop" ....hehehe so here the pictures!!
