Happy Halloween!

I hope everyone had a nice and safe evening - whether it was trick or treating or spending it same as usual. We didn't do too much. We had some candy to pass out and I really wanted to dress up Isabella in something cute. I didn't want to go out and buy something so I thought I would just forget about the idea. Then I thought hey this will work since we already have the supplies! Look at the pictures below...!
Did you notice Isabella with her Aunts and Uncles?!
She's everyone's little present!
With a bow and everything!

It was so adorable and I had a lot of fun with it!
This picture was taken right before Jack's softball game. It was also the night of my surprise party thrown by my wonderful husband!
My big present for my birthday was a visit from David, Marisa, and Sofia. I was so surprise and very excited! I couldn't believe it. We were able to spend a couple days with them. We had a very nice time! Here's Isabella waiting for her cousin to arrive.
It was so precious to watch Isabella and Sofia together. They were just too cute talking, smiling, and reaching for each other.
Look at them holding hands!

Here we are at a family dinner outing the night before my birthday.
Disney had a promotion going for 2009... you can get in free on your birthday. My mom and I have the same birthday so it was perfect! We had a great time. Isabella loved to look at everything going on around her.
Trying on hats at the gift shop.
Isabella smiling at Nana!
Isabella loved this "ride" - especially when it would speed up and blow wind in our faces.

We ate dinner at a Mexican restaurant in downtown Disney. They sang happy birthday to us and brought out these sombreros.

Sleeping on Daddy's chest. Crazy how much she's grown since she was a newborn!
Playtime with Daddy and Mommy.

My baby girl already four months old!
Mary and Ryan - do you recognize the outfit?? She's posing for you and asking "Aren't I cute?!"
Well that should do it for now! I haven't taken pictures of the home. It's still a bit messy with all the work we've been doing. I hope to take and post some pictures very soon. I hope you guys are doing well. I'm looking forward to seeing everyone at Christmas. We love and miss you all!

Visitors

Sorry for the picture overload, but I found more that I wanted to post from Cecilia's first weekend home from the hospital. Since she is still asleep here on top of me, I'm going to seize the opportunity to post now. Cecilia was lucky to have a bunch of family come and visit her the first weekend of her life, and I was lucky that some of these visitors had a really nice digital camera :) My mom was sure to take lots of pictures over the course of the weekend, and I think they turned out really well: I like this one with Tabitha, who custom-ordered this "trust birth" t-shirt so she could wear it to Cecilia's birth. She ended up having to miss it, however, since the hospital would not allow anyone but Ryan to be with me there-- a new visiting policy due to the H1N1 flu virus :(
I love pictures of Daddys with their babies!
So maybe this one was taken with my camera, not my parents' nice one. But it was so cute I had to post it. Cecilia loved her Aunt Marisa!
It was SO nice to spend time with the Lantigua family. Thanks for everything you guys!
Cecilia making her rounds. With Uncle Francis:
Uncle Patrick:
Aunt Raquel:
Grandma and Grandpa Suarez:
And finally, a Tompkins family picture:
Again, I'm sorry if this is picture-overload for anyone. We are so SO excited to have more visitors this weekend. :) Cecilia is really looking forward to some quality time with Grandma and Grandpa Tompkins. We can't wait! We love you guys!

Cecilia update

Here is a short little picture update of Cecilia Rose. I say "short" because many more pictures than the following have been taken of Cecilia since my last update. It was very difficult for me to pull out just a few pictures, since I think that they are all just as precious. Hopefully you guys can get a taste for how Cecilia is growing and changing since she was born. She had her 2 week checkup this week, and she has reached 8 lbs. already! That's my girl. These pictures are of Cecilia when she was 6 days old: She really loves Daddy:
These pictures are to illustrate Cecilia's leg span. She has these great long legs that are exactly her father's. Usually she has them curled up like this, which is deceptive and doesn't really show their length.
Then, all the sudden, she'll spring them straight out, like this:
And her toes curl too. We crack up everytime she does it. The next picture is of Cecilia having her very first dance with Daddy, to "Yo No Se Manana" by Luis Enrique:
Here she is asleep. As Christina said, you can never have enough sleeping baby pictures! I can't help but adore her when she is sleeping because I think it shows her lips to their greatest advantage. Aren't they irresistibly kissable?? Here is Ryan getting Cecilia dressed, which usually takes twice as long as it should since he can't help but make her look ridiculous by putting her clothes on her in unorthodox ways:
The different looks usually inspire him to come up with new names for her. This look made him dub Cecilia "Ceroto," which incorporates the first two letters of each of her names. I think it's fitting:
I don't know why the Blog decided to flip this picture, but i can't figure out how to undo it. This is Cecilia's making-a-stinky-diaper face.
She still has kicking sessions, just like in the womb:
She's smiling at the window. Check out her pointy elf ears:
Then the camera distracted her:
This is her "I want to nurse" signal. I see it a lot:
Her first Bucs game, that is, outside of the womb. We have yet to get her a Buccaneers outfit, because the smallest they come in is 12 months, so it'll have to wait til next season!
She was really into it. She loves football, after all.
The Bucs' loss to the Patriots was hard to watch, and Cecilia's various facial expressions really capture the rollercoaster of emotions we all felt as we watched her Daddy's favorite team:
Here she is in her swing for the first time. So many firsts in just 2 weeks!
Now I know that as her mother I am biased, but isn't she just so cute?? Well, you at least gotta admit she has great hair.
