Our poor home!

Hello Everyone! I thought I would give you an update on our house situation. We were able to move back in 2-3 weeks ago. It's not the ideal situation to be living in, but it is nice to be home! We're living on our concrete slab and most of our belongings are still packed up or clumped in the middle of the room. We just don't know what to touch at this point because we would have to move it all over again once we can put our new floors down - not sure when that will be! We've met with an attorney to help us with our insurance claim. He will not make any money if he loses the case, so the fact that he took it gives us a little hope. Please keep us in your prayers. We will keep you updated. Here are some pictures of what we came home to. It pretty much looks the same aside from all the plastic.

Jack and Andrew removed the plastic and moved the furniture in our bedroom and main room so that it was somewhat livable.

Removed the drywall where mold was present

Master bedroom
Where the master shower was :)
Shower again - you can see through to the office

And that's the latest on our home! We're hanging in there. We have a lot that keeps us happy! A big one is Isabella :). Here are some pictures from the past couple weeks.

Being goofy! Staring down her frog lol
Such a big girl!
Showing off her big girl outfit
Not crawling - but on her hands and knees!
Nice and warm with her engraved robe - given by Anola
Daddy keeping her warm by sharing his shirt
I think Isabella is trying to tell us something here

Lastly - Elizabeth bought Isabella a birthday gift. She couldn't wait 4 months to give it to her, so here are some pictures of her opening her gift.
Such a pretty hat!
Eating her shoes & outfit

It is such an adorable outfit!
Giving Elizabeth a thank you kiss

We love and miss you all! Can't wait to see you - less than 3 months away!

Sofia's whole new world

Hi everyone! Sorry it has been a while since our last update. We have been either without the internet or had problems with it the past month. Plus, Sofia had the stomache virus last week. Thankfully, everything and everyone is back to working speed so here is the latest update on Sofia.

First, big news, she is crawling! No more army crawling....she is now big girl crawling! And she lifts herself up to a standing position! With her new range of movement, a whole new world has been opened up to her. She gets into Daddy's books, bookshelves, our dresser, her exersaucer, etc. Even bathtime presents all new things to discover! And changing her diaper on the changing table...oh boy! In other words, she is into anything she can get her hands on or body into!

Inside her exersaucer

Climbing our dresser

Discovering the plug

Seeing what is outside of the tub

And in the actual tub

Checking out the changing table

Playing with Daddy's papers

Second, she is nine months now! It is hard to believe she has been out of me now for as long as she was inside of me.
Third, her vocabulary grows each day. Before we left for Christmas she could say "bye bye" while waving her hand. Now she says "Hi!" every opportunity she gets (a more optimistic choice). Every time we open the front door or are on the phone or Daddy comes into room or she sees her friends or a new face, she enthusiastically proclaims "Hi!" multiple times. She also says "book", "baby", "dada"; and "moooo" when you ask her "What does the cow say?". She is just so much fun!
Eating a red pepper

Playing in her tent with Daddy
And the tent falls down!
Her mohawk styled with a special food gel

All bundled up
Big smile

Finally, here are some of my favorite pictures from Christmas that I do not think you guys may have. Enjoy!

That is all our pictures for now. Please keep David in your prayers. His comp exams are next month! We love you all!

Cecilia update

It's been a while since I have posted so I figured I would back track a couple weeks and give some of my favorites. Cecilia at 3 months: Doing her tummy time. She is really cute on her tummy except for the fact that she grunts like a man.
Nap time: this picture is meant to demonstrate her chubby cheeks. Also, what we lovingly refer to as her "slime line" on her shirt. She is such a drooler!
This was taken during our walk back to the car after watching Avatar in the theater. Cecilia slept through most of the movie but the cold woke her up once we made it outside; she looked up at me with a big happy sleepy face:
Every night before bath time Cecilia disappears and "Ceroto" takes over. Please note the rolls in her armpits; those are new.
She likes to hold her hands together like this and play with her own fingers.
Cecilia's silly face:
She's definitely getting the hang of being on her tummy!
She's so entertaining in the bathtub. She pushes herself all around the tub.
Her signature sleeping position: arms outstretched so she can take up the maximum amount of bed space.
These are from today. She is one happy girl!
There are many, many more pictures but those are just a few to update you all on Cecilia. I hope you enjoy them and keep more picture posts coming!
